Domino’s Marbled Cookie Brownie
Serves 9

Ingredients
Cookie Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter , softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Brownie Layer:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter , melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- Note: click on times in the instructions to start a kitchen timer while cooking.
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8x8 baking pan with baking spray.
Cookie Layer: 3. In the stand mixer cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 4. On low speed add in the egg, vanilla extract until smooth. 5. Add the flour, baking soda and salt on low speed until just combined then fold in the chocolate chips. 6. Freeze the cookie dough while you make the brownie batter.
Brownie Layer: 7. Whisk together the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract until smooth. 8. Whisk in the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder until just combined.
To Finish: 9. Pour brownie batter into the baking dish. 10. Remove cookie dough from fridge and roll into 9 balls, then place into the baking dish. 11. Bake for 25-30 minutes. 12. Cool before slicing.
